Election reporting tools
Reporting lives inside each election. Open an election from Elections and switch to the Results tab to see everything described below.
Live tallies
The Results tab shows current tallies per ballot item in real time while the election is Active. Use the refresh control to pull the latest numbers on demand.
Participation Report (CSV)
From the More actions menu on the Results tab, open Participation Report and click Download CSV. The file is named participation-<election-code>.csv and is suitable for board records, legal archives, or importing into your own tools.
Election Audit
Still on the Results tab, open the inline Election Audit for invite and voting activity, or click View full audit for the complete event log. This is what to hand to an inspector or legal reviewer if a result is ever challenged.
Presenter Mode
Click Open Presenter Mode to launch a full-screen tally view at /admin/elections/presenter/<id>. Use this on a projector or shared display during an annual meeting.
Public live results
To let members watch results without giving them admin access, share the public live-results URL shown on the Results tab (/live/<election-code>) along with the 4-character Passcode. The passcode is generated from the election and shown alongside the link.
Final results
Once the election Status is switched to Closed, tallies stop updating and the Results tab becomes your final record. Download the Participation Report and retain the audit log at this point.
How teams typically use reports
- Board and officer elections — confirm totals and archive the CSV
- Member resolutions and approvals — retain audit trail alongside meeting minutes
- Annual meetings — run Presenter Mode live, then export after close
- Historical reference — keep CSV exports year over year for comparison
Limitations to keep in mind
The built-in reports are operational artifacts. They do not replace your organization's governance obligations (notice, quorum, proxy handling, inspectors, etc.). Use the exports alongside your own documentation, not instead of it.
