Live results & Presenter Mode
Two tools help you show election progress to an audience — a board meeting, annual meeting, or webcast — without handing out admin credentials.
Public live results page
On the election Results tab:
- Find the Public live results URL (
/live/<election-code>) - Note the 4-character Passcode displayed next to the link
- Share the URL and passcode with members who should watch tallies update
Viewers see participation and results refresh while the election is Active. They cannot change votes or access admin functions.
Presenter Mode
Click Open Presenter Mode on the Results tab to launch a full-screen tally view at /admin/elections/presenter/<id>. Designed for:
- Projectors and shared displays at annual meetings
- Reading results aloud as votes come in
- Keeping the audience engaged during live voting
Presenter Mode requires an admin session — run it from the laptop connected to the projector, not from the public live-results link.
When to use which
| Tool | Audience | Auth required | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public live results | Any member with link + passcode | Passcode only | Remote owners watching from home |
| Presenter Mode | Meeting attendees in the room | Admin login | On-screen display at the meeting |
Tips for meeting day

- Keep the election Active during the voting period you announce
- Download the Participation Report immediately after switching to Closed
- For Florida Condo elections, confirm the Compliance tab shows Voting Ready before opening the ballot
